A collaboration with artist Michael Brown, this project features native California bunch grasses and rushes in a median strip planting at the entrance to Montclair.

The metal cutouts are life-sized images of the animals which would have lived here prior to the European immigration. Invisible from the two ends (see next page), the animal cutouts can be seen only as one passes through the site.
