The bird-bath and "putti" were also discovered in the depths of the basement, and were recruited to support a pair of French terra cotta spheres.

The lavender in the photo to the right was planted the previous winter, and was in full bloom by early summer. Horticultural note: Please people, cut back your lavender by at least 1/3 right after their bloom. They will live a lot longer, and look much better for it.
