The new arbor off the master bedroom was stained to match the house. Pigmented stains seem to be better preservatives than the so-called sealers, which tend to need more frequent applications.
		The stone sentinel water feature is centered on the view from both the new addition and the arbor. These pieces were originally granite fence posts, which have been carved with images of dragonflies.
