At left. the informal stairway joins the front of the garden to the rear entertainment space.  At right, the stone retaining wall includes a water feature that recycles from the base of the sculpture into a gravel-covered catch basin. Within a few years the grape-stake fences will be cloaked in Boston ivy, completing the illusion of a "green oasis."
