Fir, Acacia, Cedars, Cypress,  Cryptomeria, Blue-gum, Sugar Gum and Manna Gum (Eucalyptus)*, Hemlock, Larch, Palms,  Pines (except Dwarf Mugo), Spruce, Pepper Tree (Schinus), Tamerisk, Bald Cypress, Black Walnut, Yew, Arbor-vitae (Thuja)

SHRUBS
Chamis or Greasewood, Red Shank,  California Sagebrush, Upright Coyote Bush,  Junipers, Hopseed Bush (Dodonaea), Buckwheats, Brooms

GROUND COVERS
Overgrown Dwarf Coyote Bush, Algerian Ivy (this last was a surprise to me).

PERENNIALS AND GRASSES
Pampas Grass, Bamboo, Miscanthus,  Black Sage (S. Melilifera), Fountain Grass (Pennisetum setaceum)

*Not all Eucalyptus are incendiary. The worst offenders are Blue Gum, Sugar Gum and Manna Gum.

GROUNDCOVERS
Aloe spp., Cape Weed (Arctotheca), Dwarf Coyote Bush (Baccharis), Ice Plants (all), Mock and Wild Strawberry, Prostrate Rosemary

PERENNIALS
Woolly Yarrow (Achillea tomentosa), Agapanthus, Monkey Flower (Mimulus), Lavender Cotton (Santolina), Woolly Blue Curls (Tricostemma)
